Due to the rising cost of college tuition, many students actively compete each year to obtain and receive scholarships. There are many scholarship platforms available to help students acquire credible scholarships.

These financial aid packages help students meet their living and tuition fees. They could be sponsored by the university, a private donor, or restaurants that offer college tuition. Some scholarships are made based on academic achievement, while some are determined by financial needs.

Even though paying for tuition was still a bit unusual, companies have learned that it attracts talent over time. This works to keep employees until they complete their college education in addition to improving their workforce.

The following food chains offer financial assistance for college:

. McDonald’s

The “Archway to Opportunity” tuition program offered by McDonald’s applies to both on-campus and online degree programs that are recognized by the United States Department Of education. Restaurant employees who are paid hourly are qualified for tuition assistance of up to $2,500 per year. Restaurant managers may also receive $5,250.

Before being accepted into the program, employees need to work a minimum of 15 hours per week and have worked at McDonald’s for at least 90 days collectively.

. Pizza Hut

“The Life Unboxed EDU program” is made available by Pizza Hut courtesy of a collaboration with Excelsior College. Pizza Hut employees and their close relatives can receive a 45 percent for undergrad and 15 percent for a graduate tuition discount at Excelsior.

In addition to the discount, Pizza Hut will contribute up to $5,250 a year in tuition, books, and fees for each paid, full-time corporate employee who participates in the program. Pizza Hut makes payments in advance rather than reimbursing them after the program.

. Taco Bell

Taco Bell’s “Feed My Dream program” also provides tuition assistance, similar to the affiliation Pizza Hut has with Excelsior College. The cost of tuition for employees and their immediate families is discounted by 45 percent.

. Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A provides team members and their families with scholarships and benefits for tuition. More than 100 colleges and institutions in the United States, including Boston University, Purdue University, and Oglethorpe University, accept Chick-fil-tuition A’s discounts and scholarships. If a team member discovers that the institution they want to attend is not included in the program, they may submit a formal request to have the school added officially.

Individuals working for a Chick-fil-A franchisee, a restaurant run by Chick-fil-A, Inc., or a restaurant under the brand are the only requirements for receiving tuition assistance from Chick-fil-A. The operator, interim manager, or executive general manager in your area can assist you to apply.

. Chipotle

For over 75 online programs, Chipotle has worked with Guild Education to pay for the entire tuition up ahead. These online education systems include Oregon State University, Wilmington University, and Purdue University Global. Chipotle plans to expand its academic options by including culinary, supply chain management, and agriculture soon.
Chipotle offers tuition assistance to employees who have been with the company for 120 days and have worked a minimum of 15 hours a week to qualify.

. Starbucks

Starbucks will cover half of your freshman and sophomore years’ tuition as part of the company’s College Achievement Plan.

They will pay your complete tuition for both your junior and senior years if you pass and make it to your sophomore year. This incentive is being provided in cooperation with Arizona State and its online program, which gives Starbucks employees a choice of 50 different study courses.

Starbucks employees are only obligated to work a minimum of 20 hours per week to be eligible; there is no minimum amount of service time needed. The freedom to leave the organization after graduation is certainly the best part.
